Ink Drop Function

I find it fascinating to observe the process of paper marbling. The Mathematical marbling paper introduces a model that simulates the behavior of ink in a fast way. For starters, I focused on the ink drop function defined in it.

Let's say we have some points on the surface. When an ink drops it will add additional area and push them away. The below equation calculates the next position P', given C: Center position, r: radius, P: current point position, and |P-C| distance between point and center. If you then connect the points, you can visualize the deformed form. ink drop function
